    GIF of track run mode

A standard track is 400m, so why can’t GPS devices seem to get it right? With the new Track Run Mode from COROS, a proprietary algorithm, is used to make sure your track runs and workouts are measured accurately regardless of which lane you choose. Gone are the random zigzags across the field, or sharp angled turns, replaced with the smooth straightaways and curves of the track – just like how you run on it.

    • The Apex is good looking, built to last, has a bomber battery life, and a long list of features specifically targeting endurance athletes and mountaineers. Whether you're an ultra runner, ironman, recreational runner, or mountaineer, this watch will keep up with you and accompany you seamlessly into the office.

    • Should you buy it? Yes, the Coros Apex is a solid performing fitness watch for those who run, cycle, or swim. Its extra-long battery life is unrivaled for its size, making it a great choice for endurance athletes.

    • When power matters, grab the Coros Apex. We tried to kill the battery, but like Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees, it wouldn’t die. A two-hour run knocked only 5 percent off the charge, and it can go all week without having to give it juice.

    • As I’ve stated, the design and functionality in both the watch and its app are as close to perfect as I could find in a watch.
